Radio Eclectica is an online radio station that plays Lounge/Downtempo, Indie/Alt/Brit Rock, and House/Trance. The link to the station is http://eclectica.hopto.org:8000/listen.m3u (you can find this under the blogroll section). Click “Open With” when your browser prompts you for an action, then choose your computer’s audio player eg. iTunes, Windows Media Player etc.
As we have only just begun, do pardon us should there be any technical difficulties. We are, after all, new at this (: That said, we aim to provide listeners with a wide range of sounds to massage and stimulate their aural senses. Do give us your feedback/comments via this website.
Radio Eclectica is a 24/7 LIVE music internet radio station, not on-demand.
We will be putting up various programmes on the show, with the House/Trance section being on Friday/Sat nights. There will be live DJ mixing as well, to give aspiring DJs a chance to show what they’ve got. In the event that we are unable to broadcast the live DJ mixing segment, we’ll play a pre-recorded mix. Also, we are working on getting listeners to be able to communicate with the showhost (on certain segments) via Skype.
